Scuba diving expert, Tom Maddox, represented the plaintiffs as a SCUBA diving Expert witness in one of the most important landmark SCUBA cases ever. This complex case involved the training agency, the affiliated dive shop, and the instructor, in a liability case involving the death of a student SCUBA diver. Mr. Maddox was hired as an expert in the case to provide opinion reports and important insight into the case that resulted in one of the largest settlements in the history of the diving industry.
This settlement led to major safety changes in the diving industry and supplied monetary relief for the plaintiffs.
